The Places We Go To Feel Small.

This is a small, journaling project, a quiet practice of painting and drawing the wild flora of these islands. It’s a way of slowing down and noticing: the resilient plants rooted in salt wind and thin soil, the fleeting blooms of the machair, the lichens that map slow constellations across stone.
These studies are part observation, part reverie, small painted notes that help me learn this place by paying close attention to its most delicate lives
